Welcome back to the Polka Clubhouse, everyone! I am super excited to introduce you to Cadan. I met him at the same festival where I saw T-Bone! I was very happy to be able to do two interviews at one festival!
Cadan is super talented! He works in one of the vending tents with his family! When he takes a break from working in the tent he goes all around the festival doing all kinds of fun activities. He got his face painted, played laser tag, and did tons of cool things in the kids area. I hope you enjoy meeting Cadan!

Check out my new video to learn all about my good friend T-Bone!
The Chardon Polka Band has a very good friend! His name is T-Bone! We recently played a show near T-Bone's home town and invited him to play on stage with us for the entire show. Then he offered for us to stay at his house while we were there. We were so excited that we would get to see our good friend! We all had such a blast together.
When I found out that we were going to be sharing our time at such a fun festival with our amazing friend, T-Bone I just knew it would be an amazing opportunity for an interview. This interview could have gone on for hours because there is just endless things to talk about with T-Bone! Here are some fun facts about him that didn't make it into the interview:
-He has a huge collection of trombones in his basement and can play all of them!
-He is an artist and has painted many beautiful pieces over the years!
-He has two super cute dogs and loves them very much!
-He has speakers for his CD player in every room of his house including the basement and outside so that he can blast his tunes as loud as he wants!!!!!!
Its so nice to have good friends and to keep in touch with them over the years. T-Bone is someone we make sure to keep in contact with!
Check out my cool new video. You can learn all about my new friend Cassandra!
Cassandra and I at the festival!
Cassandra is a very talented 8 year old girl whom I met while playing a festival in the Poconos this summer. She wears traditional german clothing and dances in an amazing group called HSV Bavaria (Harugari Schuhplattler Verein Bavaria). The group has participated in parades, performed on boats and floats, amusement parks, casinos, clubs, churches, and convalescent homes throughout Connecticut and neighboring states.
This Schuhplattler group travels all around to perform and share the beautiful dances of Germany with the world. A Schuhplattler is a traditional folk dance popular in the alpine regions of Bavaria and Austria. Cassandra has been traveling with this group since she was just a baby because both of her parents are members of the group as well. She loves dancing with the group and learning all of the steps to each dance. She is also the brave and courageous announcer for HSV Bavaria. Cassandra and I had a great time at the festival together. I was so excited that I got time to interview her and learn so much more about her! We had a blast!
We found this huge pig and just had to take a picture with it!
I am so happy that you will get a chance to meet Cassandra as well! She is so much fun! I love how excited she is about dancing with HSV Bavaria! Cassandra is so talented!
